Ruby'S Icebox Fruitcake
Ingredients
- 2 lb. pecans ⓘ
- 2 lb. English walnuts ⓘ
- 2 lb. Brazil nuts ⓘ
- 1 lb. seedless white raisins
- 1 box dark raisins ⓘ
- 1 large (10 oz.) pkg. Angel Flake coconut ⓘ
- 2 pkg. graham crumbs (32 oz.) ⓘ
- 4 pieces sliced dried pineapple
- 1/4 (8 oz.) dried candied cherries
- 2 (10 oz. each) pkg. small marshmallows
- 2 c. canned milk ⓘ
Instructions
- Bring milk to boil on low heat; stir constantly.
- Melt marshmallows.
- Pour in gradually all dry ingredients.
- Add applesauce or pineapple sauce if needed to help mix.
- Put in 2 small containers.
- Pack in really well with rolling pin or in one large container.
- Can be frozen, but slice before putting away in freezer.
