Rum Walnut Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding and pie filling
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 1/2 c. dark rum

Instructions

  1. Mix all cake ingredients (except walnuts).
  2. Sprinkle walnuts in a 10-inch greased and floured tube cake pan.
  3. Pour cake ingredients over walnuts.
  4. Bake for 1 hour at 325°.
  5. Cool cake, then invert on serving platter.
