Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, mix sugar, unflavored gelatin, and water.
  2. Stir over low heat until dissolved and clear in color.
  3. Remove from heat and transfer to a large bowl.
  4. Blend in sour cream and almond extract. Chill until slightly thickened.
  5. Fold in Cool Whip until well combined.
  6. Pour into a 1-quart mold and chill until firm, about 5 hours.
  7. Serve with defrosted strawberries.
