Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. pure butter
  • 3/4 c. Crisco
  • 2 tsp. flavoring (lemon or vanilla)
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 8 eggs
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Beat together at room temperature the butter, Crisco, flavoring, sugar and eggs; beat well.
  2. Then add flour and milk. Grease and flour pan (Bundt or cake).
  3. Bake 1 hour and 45 minutes at 325°.
