Ingredients

  • 5 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 package dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 1/2 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients well.
  2. Sit in refrigerator in a covered bowl for 24 hours.
  3. It can be used anytime after refrigeration.
  4. Take out the desired amount, knead it lightly.
  5. Cut out the biscuits needed from the dough.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 450°F for 10 to 12 minutes.
