Instructions
- Fry sausage rounds, over low heat until slightly browned. Drain sausage on paper towel.
- Pour off fat except 3 tablespoons. Saute onion, celery and bell pepper in same pan until wilted, not brown.
- Add 2 cups water and 1 teaspoon salt.
- Bring to boil and cook 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat; add sausage and raw rice.
- Pour all into a greased casserole with tight fitting lid.
- Cover and bake 45 minutes at 350°.
