Ingredients

  • 2 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. yeast
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 5 c. plain flour
  • 1/4 c. dry milk
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Mix the first five ingredients with mixer and let stand about 15 minutes (water, yeast, sugar, salt and vegetable oil). Gradually add the last 3 ingredients (flour, dry milk and egg) to the first mixture.
  2. Let rise until doubled its size.
  3. Turn out on a floured board and knead.
  4. Then roll out and cut out and put on a greased cookie sheet.
  5. Let rise double in size.
  6. Bake at 350° until done, browned, through.
  7. Recipe can be doubled for larger amounts. Also can be used for buns and bread.
