Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter (room temperature)
  • 1/2 c. dark brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Mix together butter and brown sugar.
  2. Add flour, 1/2 cup at a time.
  3. Roll out between waxed paper 1/2-inch thick.
  4. Cut in squares and prick each piece with a fork.
  5. Bake in an ungreased pan for 15 minutes in 350° oven.
