"Serbian" Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. can green beans or frozen or fresh cooked
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. sour cream (optional)
  • 1/3 to 1/2 c. crushed saltines or bread crumbs
  • 1 onion, slivered

Instructions

  1. Heat beans thoroughly and drain well.
  2. Melt butter and saute onion.
  3. Stir in bread crumbs.
  4. Mix with beans and heat thoroughly. Add sour cream if desired.
