Ingredients

  • 1 layer potatoes, sliced
  • 1 layer carrots, sliced
  • 1 layer celery, sliced
  • 1 cup rice, uncooked
  • 1 layer onions, sliced
  • 1 pound hamburger, raw
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 1 cup tomato soup

Instructions

  1. Layer all ingredients in a casserole dish in the order specified: potatoes, carrots, celery, rice, onions, hamburger, green pepper, tomatoes, and tomato soup.
  2. Season each layer as you add it.
  3. Cover the dish and bake in a slow oven at 325°F for 2 to 3 hours.
