Delicate tart shells with a buttery, tender crumb, perfect for sweet or savory fillings. Easy to customize and ideal for elegant desserts or appetizer presentations.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bisquick
  • 1/4 cup soft butter
  • 3 tablespoons boiling water

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 450°F (hot).
  2. Blend Bisquick and butter in a bowl.
  3. Add boiling water and stir vigorously with a fork until dough forms a ball and cleans the bowl.
  4. Dough will be puffy and soft.
  5. Divide into 6 parts.
  6. Pat out each piece on a 5 inch circle of heavy-duty aluminum foil (use lid of coffee can to measure foil).
  7. Fold up an inch of foil and pinch in 4 corners to make tart shells.
  8. Place tarts on baking sheets.
  9. Bake 7 to 9 minutes until lightly browned.
  10. Cool.
  11. Remove foil carefully.
