Simple Garlic Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1/4 - 1/2 lb bow tie pasta
  • 2 fresh garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • fresh basil, according to preference
  • freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil water, add pasta to cook.
  2. Pour olive oil into a heated pan.
  3. When oil is hot, add chopped garlic and saute.
  4. When pasta is finished, drain and pour into a large bowl. Add olive oil and garlic, and toss until pasta is coated.
  5. Tear basil leaves into small pieces and sprinkle over pasta; mix.
  6. Grate cheese over top.
  7. Salt and pepper to taste.
