- In large bowl, combine butter and sugar; let butter soften a little.
- Mix well.
- Add egg yellows and mix; then combine flour and milk until mix is creamy.
- Grease and flour 9-inch round baking pans.
- Spoon in 3 large spoonfuls of batter with "large" spoon.
- Bake at 325° until cake is golden brown.
- Layers will be thin.
- This is a six layer cake.
