Ski Tea is a warm, spiced citrus beverage with aromatic cinnamon and cloves, perfect for cozy gatherings or winter celebrations, offering a delightful blend of flavors.

Ingredients

  • 25 cups water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 5 orange pekoe tea bags
  • juice from 6 oranges
  • juice from 3 lemons
  • 1-1/2 lb sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring 25 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Tie cinnamon and cloves in a cheesecloth with a string to form a spice bag.
  3. Add the spice bag to the boiling water.
  4. Add the 5 orange pekoe tea bags and let steep for 3 minutes.
  5. Remove the tea bags from the water.
  6. Add the juice of 6 oranges and 3 lemons to the pot.
  7. Add 1-1/2 pounds of sugar and stir well until dissolved.
  8. Serve hot in a punch bowl.
