Ingredients

  • salt
  • 2 Tbsp. seasoning (bacon grease or butter)
  • 1 tsp. sugar

Instructions

  1. Cut the corn off the cob and scrape the milk starch from the kernels.
  2. Cover the corn with water, add salt to taste, and stir in the seasoning and sugar.
  3. Bring to a boil, then cook slowly, stirring constantly, until the corn nearly sticks to the skillet and develops a golden brown layer.
