- Mix sugar and Crisco well together.
- Add eggs slowly, beating thoroughly.
- Stir in nuts, then add flour, soda, salt and spices which have been sifted together.
- After mixture has been well beaten, shape into rolls about 2 1/2 inches in diameter.
- Place in refrigerator overnight.
- When ready, slice as thin as you can. Bake at 375°.
- Remove while warm.
