Ingredients

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. walnut pieces or halves

Instructions

  1. Mix brown sugar, white sugar, and sour cream in a small saucepan.
  2. Place over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches 240° on a candy thermometer.
  3. Quickly add vanilla and nuts. Stir to coat evenly.
  4. Turn out onto waxed paper. Separate the nuts and let set.
