Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups self-rising cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup Crisco
  • water

Instructions

  3. Add the Crisco and mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9 x 15-inch baking dish.
  5. Bake in a 400°F oven until the cornbread is golden brown.
