Ingredients

  • 1 package Pillsbury Already Pie Crusts
  • 1 pint jar deer meat, precooked and canned
  • 1 can Veg-All vegetables
  • Crushed garlic or garlic powder to taste
  • Cornstarch
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Place one pie crust in a pie plate.
  3. Saute garlic in a skillet with a little oil; add chopped onions if desired.
  4. Add canned deer meat and stir to combine.
  5. Cook on heat for 1 to 2 minutes, then add Veg-All vegetables.
  6. Add any leftover vegetables like corn if available.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Stir in a little cornstarch if the mixture is too wet.
  9. Pour the filling into the prepared crust.
  10. Add the top crust and crimp the edges together.
  11. Prick the top crust with a fork.
  12. Bake until the crust turns golden brown.
