- 1. Add flour to a large bowl and make a depression in the middle.
- 2. add the rest of the ingredients and stir until well combined and bubbles appear.
- 3. Let stand at room temperature for 30min.
- 5. Bring a large pot of water with salt and veg. oil to a boil.
- 4.Place special Speatzle pan or colander with large holes on top of pot.
- 5. Add portions of the dough to the colander/pan and press through the holes into the boiling water using a spatula.
- 6. Once Speatzle float on the surface remove with slotted spoon, allow to drain and transfer to warm plate.
- Add Grated swiss cheese and fried onions.
