Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fully ripe blueberries
  • 3 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Crush blueberries; measure 2 1/2 cups.
  2. In a kettle, combine berries, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cloves.
  3. Bring to a full, rolling boil.
  4. Boil hard, uncovered, 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in pectin.
  7. Skim off foam. Pour into hot, sterilized jars.
  8. Cover with wax or hot water seal.
