Spiced Cauliflower Steaks

Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon White pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 dash Nutmeg
  • 1 dash Cayenne pepper
  • 1.5 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 1 inch Cauliflower slices(steaks)

Instructions

  1. Take head of cauliflower and slice down the entire center to get two 1 inch thick slices of cauliflower. Reserve the rest for snacking or another use. Heat the oven to 375
  2. Line a backing sheet with parchment or foil. Mix all spices with oil to form a paste. Using a brush, brush both sides of steak with the mix. Careful not to dislodge any bits.
  3. Put into 375 oven for 20-25 minutes. Serve with some couscous or a light green salad on top, dollop of hummus. Que Rico
