Ingredients

  • white beans, soaked overnight
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 stalks chopped celery
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. garlic
  • 2 c. ham, cut into small pieces

Instructions

  1. Brown onion and celery in butter.
  2. Put soaked beans, celery, onion, thyme, basil, ginger, garlic and ham in crock-pot and cook for 12 hours on low.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste.
