Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 teaspoons water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups English walnut halves

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, water, cinnamon, and vanilla in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and add the walnut halves.
  3. Stir for a few minutes until nuts are coated.
  4. Lift nuts from the syrup with a fork, separate them, and allow to dry on waxed paper.
