Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/3 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 chicken, cut into 8 pieces
  • 6 lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken for 5 hours or overnight.
  2. In a blender, chop onion with garlic, white wine, lime juice, cilantro, sugar, cumin, and salt. Blend until onion is finely chopped.
  3. Place chicken in a food storage bag, pour onion mixture over chicken, and shake to coat all pieces.
  4. Refrigerate for 5 hours or overnight before cooking.
