Ingredients

  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 2/3 tsp. baking powder
  • 2/3 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. soft shortening
  • 3 medium eggs
  • 1 1/3 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. shredded coconut
  • 2/3 tsp. almond extract
  • 2 sq. bitter chocolate

Instructions

  1. Sift dry ingredients together.
  2. Cream sugar and shortening. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Blend in flour mixture.
