Ingredients

  • 6 apples, peeled and cut up
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine

Instructions

  1. Cook the peeled and chopped apples with water, sugar, vanilla, and margarine until the apples are done but not dry.
  2. Add more water if necessary during cooking.
  3. Slice leftover homemade biscuits in halves.
  4. Layer a biscuit half at the bottom of a serving dish, then add a layer of the cooked apple mixture.
  5. Repeat the layers, ending with apples on top.
  6. Make as many layers as you have apples and biscuits.
