Ingredients

  • 1 c. Milk
  • 2 Tbsp. Margarine
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 Tbsp.Yeast
  • 1/4 c. Water
  • 1 c. Cooked Winter Squash (Mashed)(From frozen freezer section
  • 4 1/2 c. Flour

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat milk, margarine, sugar, and salt until melted. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Stir in milk, squash, and 2 c. flour. 2. Add more flour to handle.
  3. Knead 5 minutes.
  4. Let rise 1 1/2 hours.
  5. Put into round cake pans, 9 around outside and 3 in center. 3. Let rise.
  6. Bake at 400° for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Makes 2 dozen.
