"Stable Boy Shrimp"

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. large shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • garlic powder
  • oregano
  • salt to taste
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped in small cubes
  • 1/2 stick butter, sliced
  • Mozzarella cheese (natural), shredded

Instructions

  1. Put shrimp in pan to be used for cooking.
  2. Sprinkle with garlic powder and oregano.
  3. Let stand 10 minutes.
  4. Place sliced butter on top.
  5. Place under broiler, stirring often, until almost done (light pink).
  6. Stir in bacon and broil about 1 minute or more for bacon. Sprinkle cheese over top and return to broiler until cheese is melted.
  7. Good eating!
