Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. sweet milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar well.
  2. Add egg yolks.
  3. Mix and sift dry ingredients.
  4. Add alternately with milk to the creamy butter and sugar mixture.
  5. Add egg whites.
  6. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes in three layer pans or one 9 x 13-inch pan.
