Ingredients

  • 1 (5 oz.) can chopped ham
  • 1/4 c. bell pepper
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. chopped green onion
  • 1/2 c. mild Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. In small bowl, combine all ingredients except rolls.
  3. Unroll dough; fold in half.
  4. Roll into a 10-inch square.
  5. Cut into 16 (2 1/2-inch) squares.
  6. Make 1-inch cut diagonally from corner of each square toward the middle.
  7. Place 1 heaping teaspoonful of filling in center.
  8. Fold every other dough tip toward center.
  9. Insert a wooden toothpick into center of each star to hold dough.
  10. Bake on greased cookie sheet and bake 10 to 12 minutes.
