- Slice mushrooms and onion thinly.
- Set aside.
- Slice steak thinly across the grain.
- Set aside.
- Heat wok or heavy frypan without oil until quite hot.
- Add 2 tablespoons of peanut oil. When it smokes, add veggie.
- Stir until half done, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove with slotted spoon.
- Add 1 tablespoon oil; heat.
- Add meat until brown.
- Add veggie and 5 spice sauce.
- Mix.
- Stir-fry 1 to 2 minutes.
- Remove.
- Add sesame oil, if desired.
- Serve over cooked rice.
