Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pound cake
  • 1 pt. strawberries
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. Cut the pound cake horizontally into three layers.
  2. Crush 1 1/2 cups of strawberries.
  3. Add sugar to the softened cream cheese, beating until smooth.
  4. Fold in whipped topping and crushed berries into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Fill each cake layer with the berry mixture.
  6. Frost the top and sides of the cake with the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Garnish the cake with fresh berries and chill before serving.
