Ingredients

  • 3 packages strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 small packages frozen strawberries
  • 1 large angel food cake

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the strawberry Jell-O in boiling water.
  2. Add frozen strawberries to the dissolved Jell-O and mix.
  3. Beat the mixture until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Tear the angel food cake into small pieces, about the size of a quarter.
  5. Add the torn angel food cake to the Jell-O mixture and stir well with a spoon.
  6. Pour the mixture into an angel food cake pan and refrigerate until set.
  7. Frost the cake with Cool Whip before serving.
