Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites (at room temperature)
  • 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 pt. Haagen-Dazs strawberry ice cream
  • 2 cups rhubarb sauce
  • strawberries (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 225°F (107°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, with a mixer at high speed, beat egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually sprinkle in sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating well after each addition until sugar dissolves and whites stand in stiff glossy peaks.
