Ingredients

  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 1/2 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. lard or butter (not melted, room temperature)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients.
  2. Add more water, if necessary, to make a soft dough.
  3. Knead dough well and let set. Work with beating motion with hands until smooth, elastic and until bubbles appear in dough.
  4. Divide dough into 3 parts.
  5. Cover and let rest 30 minutes.
