Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Cream first 4 ingredients together until light and fluffy. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Beat well. Chill dough 1 hour. Roll dough 1/8-inch thick. Cut into desired shapes. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets 6 to 8 minutes at 400°. Yield: 5 dozen.
