Sugar Rolled Kolacky

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 4 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 cake yeast
  • 1/4 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Sift flour and cut in shortening until very fine crumbs.
  2. Add rest of ingredients and work until dough leaves sides of bowl. Divide into sections. Roll out on granulated sugar. Cut in squares and fill with filling of choice. Bake at 325° for 15 minutes or until nice and brown.
