Ingredients

  • 4 large fresh tomatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice the tomatoes into thin wedges.
  2. Slice the onion into thin wedges, using as much or as little as you prefer.
  3. Add salt and pepper to the onion and toss lightly.
  4. Set the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Just before serving, pour Italian dressing over the salad to taste.
