Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 2/3 c. shortening
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 4 tsp. water

Instructions

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together.
  2. Cut in shortening until pea size.
  3. Combine egg yolk, vinegar and water. Add liquid mixture to dough.
