Ingredients

  • 8 to 9 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar in a small bowl.
  2. Toss the sliced apples with the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  3. Place the coated apples in a casserole dish with a lid.
  4. Sprinkle 1/4 cup water over the apples.
  5. Prepare the crumble topping by mixing 1 1/2 cups flour and 3/4 cup sugar.
  6. Sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the apples.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 45 minutes until the topping is golden and the apples are tender.
