Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. sirloin or round steak
  • 1/4 c. Crisco
  • 1 to 1 1/2 Tbsp. catsup
  • 1 Bermuda onion
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 c. water
  • salt
  • pepper
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut up steak and trim away all fat.
  2. Flour pieces and fry in a heavy skillet until browned well on both sides.
  3. Set aside in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
