Ingredients

  • 1 box Schilling taco casserole mix
  • 1 (15 oz.) can corn
  • 2 lb. ground beef or sausage
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Brown ground beef or sausage in a large skillet and drain off fat.
  3. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of water, seasoning mix, and tomato sauce; bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Pour meat mixture into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  6. Gently mix in tortilla chips and corn.
  7. Top with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes.
