Ingredients

  • 2 lb. stew meat or ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 green bell peppers, chopped
  • 2 (No. 2) cans whole tomatoes
  • 3 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans red kidney beans

Instructions

  1. Brown meat in stew pot; drain good.
  2. Add onions, peppers and garlic; cook until tender.
  3. Add tomatoes and spices.
  4. Simmer for 2 hours.
  5. Add beans.
  6. Simmer 30 minutes longer.
