Tailgate Cheese Spread

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. well aged Cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 1/8 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 c. blended whiskey
  • assorted crackers

Instructions

  1. Shred the cheese and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Cream the butter lightly and blend with the shredded cheese.
  2. Mix in the paprika and 1/4 cup of the whiskey until well blended.
  3. Let stand for 30 minutes.
  4. Slowly add the remaining whiskey until well blended.
  5. Chill for 1 hour.
  6. Serve with assorted crackers.
