Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine chickpeas, tahini, water, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt in food processor or blender; puree until smooth. Transfer hummus to a flat dish. Sprinkle parsley over the hummus to serve.
