Ingredients

  • 4 ounces Butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups Strong brewed coffee
  • 1 Egg lightly beaten
  • 20 Tea biscuits
  • Cocoa Powder

Instructions

  1. cream the butter and sugar until it's light and fluffy. Add in the beaten egg and mix until well incorporated.
  2. In a rectangular cake board, arrange alternately a layer of cookies soaked in coffee and layer of the creamed
  3. butter, I usually do 5 layers. Do not dunk the cookies on the coffee for too long or it will fall apart. when done,
  4. cover the cake with more creamed butter and dust with cocoa powder.
  5. Refrigerate at least two hours.
