Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan.
  2. Blend in cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  3. Gradually add milk while stirring.
  4. Heat to boiling over direct heat.
  5. Boil gently for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
