- Cream shortening, margarine and sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating one minute after each addition.
- Add flavorings.
- Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add flour alternately with milk.
- Begin and end with dry ingredients.
- Bake in greased tube pan at 325° for one hour and 15 minutes.
- Apply glaze on warm cake.
