Tiny Tuna Puffs

Ingredients

  • 1/2 (8 1/2 oz.) pkg. cream puff mix (1 stick)
  • 1 tsp. instant minced onion
  • 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 (6 1/2 or 7 oz.) can tuna, drained and coarsely flaked
  • 1/2 c. salad dressing or mayonnaise
  • 3/4 tsp. curry powder
  • 1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare cream puff mix and bake according to package directions for bite size puffs.
  2. Cool and split.
  3. Let the onion stand in the lemon juice for 5 minutes. Combine it with tuna, salad dressing, curry powder and water chestnuts, adding salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Fill the cream puffs. To serve, heat them on a jelly roll pan or other shallow pan in a hot oven at 400° for about 3 minutes or until the filling is hot through.
  5. Makes about 60.
